ENGINE
2-Stroke Single with Larger Displacement
The high-performance 84cc two-stroke engine delivers crisp, responsive power and offers proven durability to confidently tackle any ride. A close-ratio six-speed transmission and manual clutch allow aspiring riders to hone their shifting skills and get the most out of the KX85 L.


Engine
Power and torque are increased across the rev range, with peak power approximately 5% greater. Particular attention was paid to increasing low-end torque – key to achieving the engine’s friendly character.

SUSPENSION

The front and rear suspension can be adjusted to the rider’s preference. The ø36mm inverted cartridge fork offers adjustable compression damping and 275mm of travel. At the rear, the Uni Trak suspension has 275mm of travel and adjustable compression, rebound, and preload.
BRAKE
Premium Stopping Power
O220 mm petal brake rotors at the front and O184 mm petal brake rotors at the rear offer progressive braking performance for a confident ride. The petal design reduces unsprung weight while helping keep the brake pads clean and cool. The result is consistent braking performance with a solid feel.

Feeling at one with your machine is crucial for speed and control – especially for aspiring riders learning how to get the most out of themselves and their bike. Similar to Kawasaki’s full-size motocross bikes, the KX112’s bodywork forms a sleek, ergonomic package that facilitates rider movement while contributing to a strong, factory look.
ERGONOMICS
Shrouds designed to accommodate a wider range of riders make it easier for riders to find a good fit on their motorcycles. The new shroud design also directs air to the radiator more efficiently, contributing to cooling performance.
