TECHNOLOGY
ASSIST & SLIPPER CLUCTH
When excessive Engine braking occurs, the Slipper cam comes into play as a result of rapid downshifts (or unintentional downshifts), forcing the clutch hub and plate to operate apart. This reduces pressure on the clutch plate to reduce back-torque and helps prevent rear tire slamming and skidding. This racing feature is very useful when sport riding or riding on the track.
ECONOMICAL RIDING INDOCATOR
When fuel consumption is low at a certain speed and fuel efficiency is high, the ‘ECO’ mark remains on, and fuel consumption can be reduced. Effective vehicle speed and engine speed may vary by type, but paying attention to the conditions that cause the ‘ECO’ mark to appear can help minimize negative impacts on the environment.
Smartphone Connectivity
Advanced technology that can connect riders with their motorcycles wirelessly. Using the ‘RIDEOLOGY THE APP’ application that can be downloaded via smartphone. Vehicle information can be viewed on the smartphone such as Odometer, Fuel Gauge, Maintenance Schedule, etc. Rider logs can also be viewed through this application.
KIPASS
KIPASS ((KAWASAKI’S INTELLIGENT PROXIMITY ACTIVATION START SYSTEM)
By simply placing the compact FOB key (Portable Immobilizer) in your pocket, KIPASS allows the rider to remotely turn on the steering lock and the main switch, while approaching the motorcycle.
When the FOB key is close to the motorcycle, the KIPASS unit inside the motorcycle captures a unique signal, so that this system can prevent theft, making the rider not need to remove the key to start the motorcycle engine.

The Ninja 250’s 249cc engine delivers a balance of performance and controllability. Strong performance at all rpm is complemented by a good feeling of power. Smooth, predictable response contributes to the engine’s easy-to-handle character.

The engine’s strong performance is largely due to its downdraft intake, which is complemented by a large airbox that contributes to intake efficiency. Its performance is complemented by a rider-friendly character; smooth response and abundant low-end torque facilitate throttle control for new and experienced riders alike.

Developed based on feedback from racing activities, the Assist & Slipper Clutch uses two types of cams (assist cam and slipper cam) that are not available on standard clutches. The assist function provides an extremely light clutch pull and provides a wide clutch engagement range for comfort and confidence. The slipper function reduces the effect of back torque for smooth and seamless downshifts.

Innovative Kawasaki technologies such as the patented radiator fan shroud located behind the radiator directs hot air sideways away from the rider, providing rider comfort.

The Ninja 250 features a trellis frame that is similar in design to the Ninja H2. Kawasaki’s advanced dynamic stiffness analysis is used to ensure optimum stiffness with a low weight. The engine is rigidly mounted and used as a stressed member. The frame design contributes significantly to the bike’s low curb mass.
LIGHT HANDLING
The stiff ø41mm telescopic fork delivers superb suspension action. The front wheel feels fully planted, direction changes are effortless (even when the bike is fairly upright – useful when navigating traffic), and overall the suspension offers the plushness of a larger-displacement bike. At the rear, 5-way preload adjustment lets the rider adjust stiffness and ride height to suit body weight or when riding in a two-position.

Measuring ø310 mm, the Ninja 250’s semi-floating front disc offers sure-footed stopping power. A robust front brake master cylinder helps eliminate idle, contributing to controllability, while carefully selected brake hose dimensions and materials contribute to brake touch.

Relaxed, Sporty Riding Position
The relaxed ride position accommodates a wide range of rider sizes and riding situations. Compared to some other models (where the riding position is somewhat extreme at the expense of comfort), the raised grip position and slightly forward footpeg position put the rider in a position to control the bike while offering rider comfort.
